Turners Hall - #11

What started out as a day of uncertainty, turned out to be one of the better hikes of the year. With heavy morning and afternoon showers it seemed as though no hike would be possible. And as I drove through the rains on my way to Turners Hall it seemed that instead of a hike I would just be taking a drive into the country. Boy was I Wrong on approaching the starting point the rains went to a light drizzle and by the time we were ready to start had stopped completely.

And the challenge began.... it was man vs mud... for some the mud won, for moi the man won. It was slips and slides with one step forward and one slide backwards but we made it through the terrain for what turned out to be a most enjoyable hike..

Every cloud does have a silver line

Distance covered approx 5 miles

Total Distance for year approx 89.6 miles
