Conrad Hunte - Hike #13

They say 13 is an unlucky number but this was an excellent hike through the parish of St. Andrew.

Starting off from the flat Conrad Hunte playing field to a point near to the St. Andrew parish church..Then the "fun" began it was uphill to the top of a sand dune then down the steep slope of the sand dune. Some walked down while others to the wimpy way out and slid down, then we meandered through the sand dunes then it was up the steep slope of another sand dune. Some made it up quite easily others struggled- from there it was down into the Belleplaine area and once again it was up and up and up (lots of people say Barbados is "flat" but those person probably never hiked a mile of the island) what goes up must come down, so therefore it was down, climbing over bushes, passing under bushes, some with prickles meanwhile we had excellent views of the coastline and the hills of the 'Scotland district'. What a way to bring up the big 100
hike distance approx 6.8 miles
total distance so far approx: 102.9 miles
