Feb 8 Starting on the west coast where the "first European" settlers landed on the island around 1627 and watching the sun disappear travelling along the beach passing by the world famous Sandy lane hotel and continuing on to Paynes Bay. Up Holders Hill through Dairy meadows continuing on across the golf course and into Sunset Crest passing by the first cemetery on the island reaching as far as the St. James parish church and returning to the starting point opposite the Holetown monument.
