Mothers' Day brought us to Long Beach, for a hike along the southern coast of the island, along the white mile or more long sandy beach. Passing the tracks of freshly made turtle egg nest. And along the coast to Silver Sands home of windsurfing and other beach activities in Barbados. Reaching as far as the Atlantic Shores area being splashed by the waves as they cascaded into shores, coming in close proximity to the south point lighthouse. Then making an almost U-turn and traveling back to starting point this time traveling inland and passing by the nesting birds in the wetland of Chancery Lane.
Hike #17 Distance:5.25 miles
Total Distance for year Approx: 130.75 miles
